In 2008, Helly Hansen and flaik signed a partnership to develop and produce the Aspen-Snowmass Battle of the Bowls and the Big Mountain Battle series of ski and board competitions.
This partnership came on the back of a successful collaboration to produce the inaugural Aspen-Snowmass Battle of the Bowls on Sunday 30th March 2008 at Aspen-Highlands.
Designed to take advantage of the substantial real-time and flexible capabilities of the flaik solution, Battle of the Bowls and the Big Mountain Battle will serve as template for new type of challenging ski race's.
